I’m English, in my late 20s, and I live in Oxford, UK. I work as an engineer. And I’m learning to fly. This is my blog.
Why am I learning to fly?
Because I’ve always wanted to, and now I can afford it. I have no particular ambitions for commercial flying since my day job is plenty of fun, but I’m aiming for a JAR PPL(A), with a view to adding night and instrument qualifications later. And in a slightly perverse way, I hope that (as with many things in life) I get bored of it in about three years or so. My long-term finances look much better that way!
